    Terms & Conditions

We do our best work and we stand behind it. Here's how we handle the stuff that occasionally goes sideways: deadlines, shipping, ink colors, garment quirks, cancellations, and reprints. If something's not right, submit a message through our contact page within 72 hours of delivery and we'll make it right.

    1. Deposits, Payment & Cancellations

Apparel projects follow a simple order: we talk, you get a written quote with pricing options, a 25% deposit starts the mockup and revision work, and the remaining balance is due in full before anything goes to print. The 25% deposit is credited toward your final invoice. Once mockup work begins, the deposit is non-refundable; it covers the time spent on your consultation, mockups, and revisions. Before the deposit is paid, you can walk away at any time, no questions asked. After the balance is paid, the shirt portion is refundable until we purchase blanks or send work to the printer; after that the order is locked and no refunds will be issued. Standalone artwork and logo projects are separate from apparel and are paid before work begins: 100% upfront under $1,000, with a deposit to start on larger packages.

    2. Deadlines & Rush

Hardiewear will do everything we can to meet any must-have date, but we cannot guarantee it. Rush fees may apply, and the customer is responsible for any expedited shipping charges associated with the order.

    3. Artwork Approval

Any misspellings, punctuation issues, or other artwork-related issues are not our responsibility once the artwork has been approved by you. Once you approve it, it's locked in.

    4. Garment Variances & Substitutions

Hardiewear cannot guarantee variances in size, shade, or construction of garments and merchandise. When your order is placed, our team orders your apparel blanks from our distributor. Sometimes that item is out of stock. In that case, we will substitute a brand that is comparable or better than the apparel you chose so we can hit your timeline.

    5. Print Quality

Inconsistencies may occur in ink coverage and registration when printing over seams, the collar, or other edges. Large prints run the risk of printing over seams. Hardiewear is not responsible for these inconsistencies.

If the customer does not specify a Pantone color out of a Coated Pantone Book, Hardiewear uses its best guess according to our art department's monitor. We will pick a specific Pantone for that order and use it on all other orders to keep consistency. Ink color may vary depending on print style, garment type, or garment blend. Hardiewear is not responsible for these color variances.

Polyester items can be a struggle to print on depending on the brand or the way they were dyed. The reason is a reaction known as dye migration: small dye particles moving from one place (fabric) to another (ink), causing an unwanted change or tint in ink color. We combat this by using special polyester inks and bleed blockers. We fight this issue, but once in a while there is a chance for some bleeding depending on the garment. Hardiewear is not responsible for this issue.

Hardiewear will not be responsible for misprints up to 5% per design. This is an industry standard. We will do our best to be perfect, but when printing thousands of shirts there can be minute blemishes that we cannot catch.

    6. Printable Areas

Not all shirts are sewn exactly the same; these dimensions are a "safe" zone to avoid printing on seams or edges. Any print that goes over a seam can result in imperfections in the print.
